Social-Emotional Skill Building

Social-Emotional Skill Building

Our therapists weave in social-emotional skill-building practices in individual or family therapy sessions through structured activities and/or in pretend play as these are often the skills that children with mental health difficulties struggle with the most. Wherever possible, we incorporate caregivers to support their ability to enhance their child’s understanding and development of the social-emotional skills they are learning to improve their overall wellness.

We offer social-emotional skills groups for children. There are no groups being offered at this time; however, if you are interested in this service, please inquire to be added to a contact list for our future group offerings.
